It is expected that the development of the Amulsar mine will begin at the end of this year or the beginning of next year.  Babken Tunyan, vice-chairman of the NA Economic Affairs Committee, said on April 3 during the discussion of the project to establish a state duty for the export of gold, platinum and palladium ingots.

ArmInfo.It was investors who offered the government to accept shares of companies as a gift, Prime  Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan said on February 7 at government hour in parliament, commenting on the transfer of shares in a number of companies.

ArmInfo.Armenia is not engaged in racketeering, Minister of Finance Vahe Hovhannisyan told a press  conference as he commented on the transfer of shares of a number of companies to Armenia as a gift. 

ArmInfo. The transfer of shares by the Lydian Armenia company, which operates the Amulsar mine, as a gift to the government of Armenia was the company's decision. Head of the economic department, Vahan Kerobyan, announced in an interview with Public Television.  "Taking the government as a partner is advisable for the company in the context of creating a more comfortable working environment; moreover, thanks to this step,  many risks will be leveled," the minister said.

ArmInfo. Armenia will remain leader in terms of economic growth in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) next year, according to a forecast by the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB).

ArmInfo.For the second year in a row, the Armenian economy will become the leader in terms of economic growth among the countries in the region. According to estimates by the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB), the country's GDP growth at the end of 2023 will be 8.3% (against the previously projected 7.5%). Alexey Kuznetsov, Head of EDB Research Department, announced on Thursday in Almaty, presenting the EDB Macroeconomic  Outlook 2024-2026.

This is the forecast of Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) analysts, which is included in the  Macroeconomic Outlook of 6 EAEU member countries published today.

On May 15, in Almaty, on the sidelines of a conference of investors-members of the Association of Development Financing Institutions in Asia and the Pacific (ADFIAP), Chairman of the EDB Nikolai Podguzov said in an interview with journalists, answering a question from ArmInfo.
